IMPRO NEUF INTERNATIONAL is proud to present Oslo's first weekly improv comedy shows in English. Hosted by The Improv Speakeasy, we bring fresh pickings of the city's talents onto the limelight. It's a different team every Wednesday!
Performing for the night:
Sara R K Raz leads the bizarrely romantic team HOW I MET SARA, Marie Folkeson manipulates her puppets in MARIENETTES, and Kristin Krogh Boge clowns around with the boys of SPEAKEASY.
How I met Sara - is an Oslo based improv group with its roots in Somalia, Iran, Finland and some very, very small places in the mountains, and by the coastline of Norway. This diverse background reflects in their long form acts as complex situations and unpredictable storylines. Have you met Sara?
The group group consists of: Sara R K Raz, Liban Gulaid, Jørgen Moltubak, and Andreas Berge.
Marienettes - Although all the members of Marienettes are from Oslo, the group started up with an international debut in Copenhagen. They have since then done several shows in Oslo, and enjoy playing on the edge of reality, exploring what could’ve, should’ve, would’ve. The members of Marienettes are: Marie Folkeson, Terje Brevik and Harald Jordheim.
Speakeasy - is the mainstage troupe and host of Impro Neuf International. We play a montage of scenes that ranges from drama to absurdity, but always with a lot of heart.
